Thank you for your interest in taking part in this scientific study! This questionnaire focuses on the topic of de-influencing on social media platforms.


This survey is conducted as part of a Master’s thesis at the University of Vienna. The data collected may be accessed by the course instructors, supervisors, and/or reviewers of the academic work for the purpose of performance assessment.

According to Art. 89 para. 1 GDPR, the collected data may generally be stored without restriction. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and restrict the processing of your personal data. You also have the right to object to the processing and the right to data portability. Before the survey begins, you will be presented with detailed information regarding your rights, and your consent will be requested again. Your data will be collected and processed solely based on legal regulations (§ 2f para. 5 FOG).

You have the following personal rights in the context of this survey:

• Participation in this study is voluntary. You may discontinue the questionnaire at any time.

• Your participation is anonymous, and your responses cannot be linked back to you. This also means that after completing the questionnaire, your individual data record will no longer be identifiable.

• If you would like to receive information about your data after the study or withdraw your participation, please indicate this in the final comment field (optionally with a contact address).

• Your data will be used solely for scientific purposes.

• This research serves no commercial purpose. All your data will be treated with strict confidentiality.
